Red palm fruit oil is an excellent source of vitamin A. It contains 3 to 8 times more retinol activity equivalents than carrots, and more than 50 times more retinol activity equivalents than tomatoes (weight for weight). Among all vegetable oils, red palm fruit oil has by far the highest level of naturally occurring tocotrienols (5.83 mg per 10 ml portion); tocopherols and tocotrienols are two forms of vitamin E, an antioxidant. Red palm fruit oil is nonhydrogenated. Contains 0.62 mg coenzyme Q10 per 10 ml portion. No artificial colours or preservatives. Orangutan- and elephant‑friendly oil.
